Frédéric Brossoit was born in Montreal, (Quebec) Canada. He started in show business as an actor when he was 5 years old. He had a part in Claude Fournier’s film, Bonheur D’occasion based on the book by Gabrielle Roy.

In 1984, he made an appearance in the soap opera, L’agent fait le Bonheur before he started a series of commercials for the dairy foundation of Canada (cheese please) for 6 years.

He was also a spokesperson with Johanne Mckay for Nathan games.

In 1986, He recorded an album for children security, La Fugue du petit Poucet with Yvon Deschamps. He was 10 years old at this time. The album was followed by an important promotional campaign at the radio and television. During this time, he began his piano and drums lessons, finally choosing drums.

From 1986 to 2002 he studied with several famous drummers like Michel Hallé who is recognized for his work with Aldo Nova, Alain Quirion (drummer of Zébulon), Pierre Koch (drummer of Groovy Aardvark) and Magella Cormier.

In 1998, he graduated in carpentry from the school Les Métiers de la Construction in Montreal. He never pursued a professional career but used his knowledge for personal projects.

Later, he studied at the school of Show Business where he graduated in 2000. He now works as a lighting engineer, sound engineer, band gear and projectionist. He’s also a pyrotechnician for indoor scenes.

Before he joined the band Addicted Bones in 2002, he was a part of many different bands like Lady Bug and a tribute to Iron Maiden. He played all over Quebec, Canada and United States. In 2001, he met Annie while playing in another band.

In 2002, he recorded with Addicted Bones their first promotional album at Victor Studio with sound engineer, Daniel Ste-Marie.

Frédéric is heavily involved in the artistic business and is very versatile. He’s also the member that shows the most discretion. He works very hard (he has played drums for 16 years) and according to Annie, he brings a sense of innocence to the band. He's an accomplished musician and extremely sensitive.
