A Promising demo

We receive tons of demos, but most of them find their way to the archives because our policy is to only write about the published albums, but there’s an exception to that rule and it’s called Addicted Bones. The band was founded by singer and composer Annie Saumur, who worked for a couple of years with former guitarist Shawn Lalonde. She founded the band in 2001, and alongside Annie Saumur is now Martin Robert on acoustic and electric guitars, Jonathan Moorman on violin, Serge Larouche on bass and Frédéric Brossoit on drums. Of the four songs, Fearless and Irish Angel grab most of the attention, where you can hear the singer who wrote the lyrics for these two songs and part of the music for Irish Angel. When these songs become accessible to the public, Irish Angel will propel them forward. You can hear the voice of an angel rising from within. Annie Saumur shapes her voice with such ease and class. Overall, we could be listening to a completely British album. Very poetic lyrics and music, with a little Irish color to it. Only a record label with enough vision is missing to launch them into orbit, and realize a return of a hundredfold.
